Code of Conduct for Collaborators
This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for all collaborators working with DARE Collective.Professionalism
- Respectful Communication: Collaborators are expected to communicate with all stakeholders (including DARE staff, partner organizations, and beneficiaries) in a respectful and professional manner.
- Confidentiality: All information shared by DARE or partner organizations must be treated confidentially. This includes project details, financial information, and beneficiary data.
- Meeting Deadlines: Collaborators are expected to meet agreed deadlines and communicate any potential delays promptly.
- High-Quality Work: Collaborators commit to delivering high-quality work that aligns with project goals and reflects DARE’s standards of excellence.
Ethical Conduct
- Conflict of Interest: Collaborators must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise during their work with DARE.
- Anti-Discrimination: Collaborators must avoid any discriminatory behavior based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Harassment: Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, and unwelcome sexual advances.
Social Responsibility
- Upholding Partner Missions: Collaborators should be mindful of and respect the mission and values of the partner organization they are working with.
- Sustainability: When possible, collaborators should promote sustainable practices in their work with DARE.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Collaborators are expected to be sensitive to the cultural backgrounds of all stakeholders involved in the project.
Reporting Concerns
If a collaborator witnesses or experiences a violation of this Code of Conduct, they are encouraged to report it immediately to the leadership via hello@dare-collective.org. All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated thoroughly.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination of the collaboration with DARE.
